Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma orequivalent preferred.
Associates Degree preferred.
Experience:
3-5years full-time admitting experience with insurance knowledgepreferred.
Knowledge of insurance, precertification and referralprocedures preferred.
Experience in working with patientspreferred.
Licensure and/or
Certification:
None required.
Skills:
Knowledge of third-party payors.
Knowledge of Medicare billingpractices and regulations.
Insurance verificationsexperience.
Computer proficiency.
Excellent interpersonal skills arerequired to interact effectively with all organizational levels.
