This includes managing a team of intake coordinators, ensuring efficient and compassionate client onboarding, verifying insurance and funding sources, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The director serves as a key liaison between clients, referral sources, clinical staff, and administrative departments to ensure a smooth and client-centered admission experience.
The Admission Intake Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the client admissions and intake process at the substance use treatment facility. This includes managing a team of intake coordinators, ensuring efficient and compassionate client onboarding, verifying insurance and funding sources, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The director serves as a key liaison between clients, referral sources, clinical staff, and administrative departments to ensure a smooth and client-centered admission experience. A NJ licensed clinician with a Master’s Degree in Human Services, Social Services or Psychology with LCADC, LPC, LCSW or other license recognized by state licensure regulations. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a substance use treatment facility, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role. In-depth knowledge of substance use disorders, treatment modalities, and levels of care. Experience with insurance verification, Medicaid/Medicare, and third-party payers. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) and Microsoft Office Suite.
