As we continue to grow, we are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Director of Admissions to oversee recruitment efforts across multiple campuses and lead a dynamic team of admissions representatives.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and driven leader who excels in higher education recruiting and has a proven track record of driving enrollment growth. The ideal candidate is someone who understands how to close deals, expertly navigates the sales funnel, and is passionate about developing and mentoring admissions teams. This is an executive-level position requiring a results-oriented, dedicated professional who is fully committed to building a strong team and increasing enrollment. Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development:
Oversee and mentor a team of admissions representatives, providing sales training, performance coaching, and strategic direction to meet enrollment targets.
Recruitment Management:
Lead the admissions process for prospective students, using CRM software to track and manage interactions, follow-ups, and progress from initial inquiry to enrollment.
Public Relations & Promotion:
Represent the institution at public speaking events, fairs, and other recruitment activities to promote the institute and its programs.
Strategic Enrollment Growth:
Develop and implement targeted strategies to increase both enrollment and retention rates across all campuses.
Collaboration & Guidance:
Work closely with academic advisors to ensure prospective and enrolled students receive the support and guidance necessary to succeed.
Market Analysis:
Regularly analyze market trends and adjust recruitment strategies accordingly to stay competitive and meet the institution’s goals.
Relationship Building:
Cultivate strong relationships with educational institutions and other external partners to expand the recruitment pipeline.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years in College Admissions setting, preferably private trade school. Proven experience in higher education recruiting, with a deep understanding of the sales process and enrollment strategies. Strong leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to build, develop, and manage a high-performing admissions team. Proficient in sales CRM software, including experience using data to drive decisions and reporting. Strong public speaking and communication skills, with the ability to represent the institution in various public and professional settings. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel to campuses across New Jersey as needed. A passion for education, team development, and a drive to achieve measurable results.
