Director Manahawkin Campus 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars Manahawkin, NJ JOB This position leads and directs all aspects of OCC Manahawkin Campus operations while focusing on ensuring the delivery of outstanding instructional and student services, meeting quality standards, creating a robust schedule of classes for the Manahawkin Campus each term, supervising OCC Manahawkin faculty, lecturers and adjuncts, and adhering to the College’s policies and procedures. In partnership with Academic Affairs and Student Affairs, this position promotes academic programs offered to the community and works to build partnerships with education, workforce development, businesses and industry in communities near the Manahawkin Campus. This position will also be expected to adhere to compliance guidelines and training requirements associated with the Campus Security Act (CSA).

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES 1.
Provides operational leadership and direction to OCC Manahawkin, including but not limited to academic program delivery; course scheduling, academic and student services support; security and maintenance of facilities; and review management activities that ensure continuous quality improvement.2. Provides leadership and oversight for plans relating to all OCC Manahawkin schedules, including the site master schedule, class/faculty schedules, faculty student advising schedules and faculty office hours. These schedules will support learning environments to assure institutional effectiveness in maximizing resources, balancing competing demands, and responding to student needs for course offerings at OCC Manahawkin and Pinelands Evening School. 3. Consciously creates a workplace culture consistent with the College’s mission, vision, guiding principles, and values; manages by example; focuses on establishing and maintaining a successful well trained, mentored, developed, and empowered team that is willing to be held accountable for individual performance, the achievement of established goals and personal development progress.4. Establishes and maintains processes, communication and relationships at OCC Manahawkin and with other College departments that support a comprehensive and effective enterprise; partners with College Relations in the coordination of OCC Manahawkin marketing and publication activities; consults with designated departments regarding OCC Manahawkin operation, service delivery and the appropriate implementation of OCC policies and procedures.5. Evaluates existing curricular and co-curricular programs at OCC Manahawkin; researches, proposes and oversees the implementation of new programs for OCC Manahawkin; works with Student Life, Counseling & Disability Services departments to offer co-curricular programming that ensures compliance with ongoing Federal prevention requirements and offers cultural and student success-oriented programming.6. Establishes data collection and data-driven decision-making processes related to enrollment, as well as course and program offerings; develops, implements and tracks budgets; develops recommendations for initiatives tied to the College’s strategic plan and OCC Manahawkin’s goals.7. Designs, supports and implements recruitment efforts to increase student enrollment; recommends innovative programming to increase community awareness and participation at OCC Manahawkin.8. Responsible for OCC Manahawkin instructional staff performance reviews and making independent recommendations to the school Dean and Academic Affairs Vice President on matters of retention, tenure, and promotion.9. Responds to faculty and staff concerns about student conduct and responds to student complaints within the mechanisms provided by College policies and procedures. 10. Works in partnership with Workforce and Professional Education leadership and Early College and Enrollment Services staff to develop, offer and promote appropriate programs and classes at OCC Manahawkin and in the surrounding area.11. Serves as an active member of the Academic Leadership Team & Student Affairs Leadership Team; Assists with the development of adjunct and part-time faculty at OCC Manahawkin through implementation of college-wide workshops and activities; Participates in annual CSA compliance training and adheres to the guidelines of the Campus Security Act when carrying out the duties of this position.12. Other duties, initiatives and projects as assigned.
