Director of Admissions
PRESTIGIOUS REHAB & SNF IN THE BRONX
Bronx, NY 10475 DIRECTOR
OF ADMISSIONS
Prestigious Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Facility located in the Bronx, NY is actively seeking a full-time Admissions Director for our Skilled Nursing Facility.
Duties:
Completes the admission process in accordance with facilities policies and procedures Coordinating the resident referral and approval process in an efficient manner Establishing & maintaining relationships with local hospitals, physicians & community organizations for the purpose of generating consistent admissions to the facility Maintain knowledge of regulations governing Medicare/Medicaid/Managed Care reimbursement processes Maintains Daily Census and general records Updates all admission materials and forms on an ongoing basis Support the facility’s PR to generate a positive image & encourage word-of-mouth referral Communicate special needs of new admissions to staff to ensure a smooth transition Provide appointments for facility presentations and on-site tours
Requirements:
Prior experience as post-acute and long-term care Be self-driven with excellent internal sales/marketing skills Excellent interpersonal skills; possess the ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, and visitors Knowledge of Microsoft Office, typing, medical terminology knowledge and data entry required Ability to work independently and with a team Ability to implement the process to achieve desired outcomes Possess communication, time management, multi-tasking and organizational skills

Pay:
$85,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year & in addition to the base salary, this role includes a competitive bonus structure
