Academic Affairs SUMMARY:
Provides strategic leadership and fosters collaboration with faculty, staff and students to advance the institution with a focus on service excellence. Responsible for the leadership and supervision within the division of Academic Affairs of Distance Learning, the Learning Commons Academic Support, Learning Commons Library, Registrar, Applied Learning and Articulation. Provides administrative oversight for the Fulton Campus.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS
Provide leadership and supervision to the following direct reports: Director of the Learning Commons – Academic Support. Ensure effective support for tutoring, testing, and other academic support programs; and compliance with accessibility standards. Director of the Learning Commons – Library. Ensure the cultivation of library collections and services, maintenance and development of SUNY partnerships, and ensure compliance with SUNY’s information literacy requirements. Director, Distance Learning. Ensure support and coordination of Cayuga’s distance learning and web-enhanced offerings; the training of students, faculty, and staff on new and existing technology; coordination with SUNY Online services, and the integration of the learning management system with the institutional technology infrastructure. Coordinator of Applied Learning and Articulation. Ensure seamless services to students and prospective students as it relates to credit for prior learning, internships, microcredentials and articulation. Manager Fulton Operations. Ensure effective support and communication to Fulton employees as it relates to facilities, facility partners and Oswego County initiatives. Registrar. Ensure support for effective Registrar services including the ongoing maintenance of accurate student records, delivery of student services through centralized student hub, and efficient scheduling and registration processes. Support faculty in the submission of course and program applications through SUNY and NYSED, and ensure accuracy of the College’s offerings on the inventory of registered programs and other internal and external publications and reports. Support faculty in the development of new articulation agreements with a focus on identified high need areas of growth. Chair the Committee for Advancing Teaching and Learning, and serve on other campus-wide committees related to the position. Work collaboratively with faculty to oversee ongoing review of academic policies and procedures.

Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree in education, instructional design, or related field; doctorate preferred.
Minimum of five years of experience in academic affairs in higher education, administrative/supervisory experience preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse constituencies.
Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to multi-task, and to work independently, creatively with all parties, and under pressure.
