Job Description The Associate Athletic Director, NIL Development will serve as the strategic lead for external revenue opportunities for Syracuse University Football, with a direct focus on maximizing the financial growth of the football program through Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) efforts. The position will work collaboratively with the Syracuse Football operations staff, the Associate Vice President of Athletics Development and SUFBNIL Collective, along with any future collectives or agencies associated with the program.
Reporting to the Senior Associate Athletic Director and working closely with the Associate VP of Athletics Advancement, this role is integral to shaping and managing the revenue strategy and donor pipeline for football-specific initiatives, prioritizing NIL-related fundraising and business development.
Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred.
6+ years of experience in athletics fundraising, development, or external affairs.
Demonstrated success in building donor relations, corporate partnerships, or revenue generation strategy.
Strong knowledge of NCAA compliance and NIL regulations.
Experience collaborating with high-level donors and university leadership preferred.
Skills and Knowledge Develop & implement a comprehensive football-specific NIL fundraising strategy
Lead donor identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship efforts to grow major gift support .
Partner with corporate sponsors and donors to create unique engagement opportunities.
Serve as the lead liaison with officially affiliated Syracuse Football NIL collectives and/or agencies.
Facilitate collaboration between Syracuse Football and NIL partners to align opportunities with institutional goals and compliance requirements.
Educate internal and external stakeholders on the evolving NIL landscape and strategies for involvement.
Work closely with the Associate VP of Athletics Development and `Cuse Athletics¿ Fund to ensure alignment on messaging, prospect strategy, and giving pipelines.
Be a representative of Syracuse Football and Athletics in Advancement and University fundraising initiatives, meetings, and campaigns.
Monitor national trends and innovation in NIL and football fundraising to position Syracuse at the forefront of collegiate athletics revenue generation.
Develop and lead new initiatives and activation opportunities to attract support for football NIL priorities.
Create clear metrics and reporting frameworks to evaluate the effectiveness of donor engagement and NIL fundraising initiatives.

Lead B2B identification, cultivation, solicitation for Syracuse Football and work collaboratively with the `Cuse Athletics Fund on all stewardship efforts. In order to grow major gift support for the Syracuse University Football NIL program.
