$51,261-$55,000
Description of Duties
The State University of New York (SUNY) college at Canton invites qualified applicants for a full-time Resident Life Director.
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, high level of creativity, and the desire to take on challenging work in a fun, diverse, engaging, and ever-changing environment. This position requires extensive evening and weekend hours as well as regular emergency contact duties. This is a twelve-month position. In addition to salary the Residence Director will also receive an expense-free apartment within the residence hall.
Responsibilities
Responsible for managing and supervising a 100-300 bed residence hall.
Community development.
Coordination of student programming.
Training/supervision of Resident Assistants.
Conflict resolution.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Preferred:
Recent experience as a Resident Assistant.
