Job Description

Neumann University’s Learning Commons invites applications for a full-time Associate Director of Student Retention.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Support student success and retention initiatives through data-driven outreach and strategic planning.
Coordinate the student withdrawal process and analyze retention data to inform interventions.
Manage CRM tools to implement communication campaigns and track student engagement.
Collaborate with Registrar, Financial Aid, Business Office, and other departments to remove barriers to retention.
Lead monthly retention meetings and provide regular institutional reporting.
Develop and deliver training on CRM systems and student outreach processes.
Promote co-curricular involvement through partnerships with campus offices.
Represent the office in Student Affairs and university-wide committees.
Oversee marketing and communication efforts related to retention.
Availability for occasional evening and weekend work to support engagement efforts.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education required; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of three years’ experience in higher education, with a demonstrable record of increasing responsibility.
Strong commitment to promoting academic success for all students and implementing best practices in academic support and resource provision.
Ability to work collaboratively and collegially as part of a team to enhance programs and initiatives.
Skills in data analysis, data retrieval, and database management.
Familiarity with learning management systems, student database systems, and other administrative platforms.
Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and address challenges with effective solutions.
Knowledge of and congruence with the Catholic Franciscan character of the University.
