This role may be eligible for up to $10,000 in bonuses as well asup to $5,000 for relocation expenses! Positions available in bothPhiladelphia and Camden! New-to-Mastery Lead Case Managers canexpect a starting salary between $92,750 and $104,000 based onexperience and education. The full salary range for this role is$92,750 to $114,250, with opportunities for growth as your careerprogresses. All offers are reviewed individually to ensure equityin compensation and to reflect relevant experience.

TheOpportunity:

The Lead Case Manager ensures that students receivingspecial education services and Section 504 accommodations achieveacademic success. This role oversees IEP and 504 plan development,compliance with state and federal regulations, and studentintervention programs. Additionally, the Lead Case Manager providesmentorship to students and guidance to staff to ensure theeffective implementation of specialized services across allacademic settings.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure school-widecompliance with all state and federal laws governing specialeducation and 504 plans. Develop, implement, and overseeIndividualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 ServiceAgreements that drive measurable student progress. Monitor studentgrades, benchmark assessments, and progress tracking data to ensureacademic achievement for students receiving specialized services.

Conduct and oversee Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) anddevelop Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs). Chairmanifestation determination meetings and prepare requireddocumentation. Lead the Intervention & Referral Services (I&RS)team, ensuring effective student support interventions. Provideongoing mentorship and coaching to students on self-regulation,organization, and academic success strategies. Collaborate withteachers and administrators to ensure special educationaccommodations are implemented effectively in general educationsettings. Serve as a liaison to the School Culture Team, supportingbehavior interventions for students receiving special educationservices. Manage relationships with related service providers(Psychologists, Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapists) andtherapeutic support staff. Provide training and support to schoolstaff on compliance, special education policies, and interventionbest practices. Perform other duties as assigned to support schooloperations and student achievement.

Qualifications:

Strongknowledge of instructional strategies for students withdisabilities. Expertise in special education regulations,compliance policies, and student support best practices(PA/NJ-specific). Experience developing IEPs, 504 Plans, FBAs, andPBSPs. Ability to mentor and guide teachers, administrators, andsupport staff on specialized services implementation. Stronganalytical skills for data-driven decision-making and studentprogress monitoring. Excellent organizational, communication, andproblem-solving skills. Commitment to educational equity andensuring all students receive high-quality support services.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Special Educationrequired; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of three (3) years ofexperience working with special education students andcollaborating with families, teachers, and external serviceproviders to support student success. Certification as a SpecialEducation Teacher, Supervisor of Special Education, or Principal’sCertification required.

Physical Requirements:

This role mayinvolve standing and sitting for extended periods, movingthroughout the school building, observing classrooms, andparticipating in school events. Reasonable accommodations will bemade as needed.
