Minimum Salary:
$37,735 per year, USC Aiken Housing The Residential Life Coordinator-Pacer Downs is responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive residence life program which enhances the growth and development of residential students while supporting the academic mission of the University. This person will serve as a live-in after-hours manager of an on-campus housing complex which houses approximately 356 students, faculty, and staff. The Residence Life Coordinator reports to the Director of University Housing and Residence Life, but is expected to exercise independent judgment in managing the day to day responsibilities of the position and area he/she oversees. Works harmoniously with others. Will receive supervision on a regular basis through formal one on one meetings, as well as informally, when occasion arises where supervision is necessary.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree in a job related field and 1 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience. Knowledgeable in residence life programming, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work with diverse constituencies, knowledge of principles of student development, and strong student-centered philosophy.
