Position Description
Advertised Job Summary The Manager of Project Management and Accreditation facilitates planning, analysis, and implementation of strategic initiatives for the USC School of Medicine Greenville (USCSOMG). Responsible for initiating projects, project analysis and reporting, and student and program tracking. Coordinates with department leaders and associated deans within the school and across the Prisma Health enterprise. Responsible for working closely with senior administrators to provide information and analysis to support administrative decision-making, strategic planning, and strategic initiatives for the USCSOMG. Supports campus-wide strategic initiatives, accreditation efforts, and student tracking. Participates actively in continuous quality improvement (CQI) processes (e.g. independent student analysis); preparation of oral and written presentations; and convening task forces as needed.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 3 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalentbination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree or higher with minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in medical/higher education, preferably in institutional evaluation or project management.

Provides project management support for the Student Evaluation and Promotion Committee (SEPC)
Compile agenda items, gather data formittee review, and draft accurate formal letters for review.
Responsible for data collection and management for trend analysis as well as document organization.
Responsible formunication regardingmittee decisions to relevant stakeholders and updating student records in OASIS.
Monitor timelines for appeal process as needed.
Develop and maintain a process to track studentpletion of student requirements as documented in formal letters.

Job Duty Accreditation and Policy:
Assists the Director of Accreditation and Strategic Planning in the management of accreditation activities and program reviews. Provides project management support for the self-study process and Data Collection Instrument (DCI) readiness team that is required for maintaining USCSOMG accreditation. Collaborates with administration, faculty, staff, and students onpiling accreditation data and processes.
Supportspiling evidence ofpliance with accreditation standards.
Maintains awareness and knowledge of changing Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) accreditation requirements and provide updates to appropriate stakeholders, as needed.
Provide project management support for the Policy and Proceduresmittee and ensure that policy changes aremunicated through various channels including the website, applicable newsletters, and the Student Handbook.
Provide data for annual LCME reporting requirements.

Job Duty Continuous Quality Improvement:
Collaborates with faculty, staff, and administrators to identify Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI).
Provides support in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of student performance and satisfaction survey data related to accreditation to report trends.
Compiles and distributes data and reports pertaining to all CQI responsibilities for USCSOMG.
Conducts policy analysis on topics of institutional interest and synthesizes the findings for decision-making purposes.
Reviews policy updates, and, when necessary, assists in operationalizing new policies. Develops and improves policies and processes, in collaboration with multiple offices (Office for Student Affairs, Office for Medical Education, Office for IDEAS, SEPC, registrar, etc.).

Job Duty Project Manager for
Special Projects:
Assists the Director of Accreditation and Strategic Planning in the planning and implementation ofplex projects.
Initiate Planning, Execution, Monitoring, and Closing of projects, working groups, or task forces related to the accreditation, strategic planning, or CQI for the school.
Compiles and distributes data, tracks progress and pulls reports pertaining to all project management responsibilities for USCSOMG. When appropriate, supports other work and special projectsing from administrative leadership. Leads projects related to strategic initiatives (including consultation for project design, development, implementation, analysis, and post-implementation review).
Prepares final report of project achievements. Performs formal review of the project uponpletion and tracks customer satisfaction.
Updates appropriate stakeholders on the progress of projects. May include collaborating with other institutions on similar projects to leverage expertise on the project.
