Continuous Job Details Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the following full-time position: Community Standards Coordinator Coordinator in the Department of University Housing. The Community Standards Coordinator (CSC) serves as a live in professional member of University Housing’s Resident Success Team. The CSC works directly with the Dean of Student’s Office in processing incident reports while assessing for behavioral trends and opportunities to increase the safety and well-being of residential students of the residential student population (5,400). The CSC will outreach to on-campus residents who will benefit from individualized care and support. Salary range:

$38,985.00 (minimum) – $55,559.00 (midpoint). Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university. Duties Duties include, but are not limited to: Manage administrative responsibilities associated with reviewing and processing incident reports. Serve on a 24/7 administrator on call and support staff rotation responding to self-harm, title IX and other behavioral and facilities related concerns. Develop and facilitate educational initiatives in response to, and in anticipation of, community needs. Serve as a case manager, connect with residents, and balance appropriate measures of care and accountability. Serve as a departmental liaison and participate in department and university-wide initiatives.

Qualifications Required:

A Master’s degree and a minimum of three (3) years’ experience responding to behavioral issues with strong leadership and administrative skills.

Preferred:

Five (5) or more years of experience in higher education or similar area of interest. Professional experience in a university or college student housing setting, including live-in/live on duties as well as crisis response. Prior direct supervision of student para-professional staff and case management experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Able to apply student development theory in everyday practice, promote academic success and social justice within a community, and familiarity with residential facilities. Competence in primary computer applications, social media, database management, and attention to detail in administrative responsibilities.
