Job Description

Director of Admissions, University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law
The Director of Admissions will focus on marketing and messaging to prospects, applicants, and admitted candidates, recruitment strategy and implementation, and evaluation of candidates for admission and for scholarships. This key staff member will report to the Vice Dean, Admissions and Career & Professional Development, and collaborate with faculty and a staff of professionals in admissions, career and professional development, communications, and student success in order to advance the law school’s enrollment goals. Experienced law admissions professionals, or other professionals with law school or legal recruitment experience at law firms or law schools, are encouraged to apply. Experience with database manegement and CRM systems, Unite, Symplicity, or Slate will be useful. The successful candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, experience writing for marketing, and experience in the evaluation of law school candidates or students. Master’s or JD degree preferred. The position is available now and will be open until the successful candidate is identified. Questions?
