Position Description Advertised Job Summary The Assistant Dean will manage business requirements, conduct needs assessments, and develop functional specifications to ensure that developed information technology solutions support business objectives. Serve as a project manager designing, configuring and maintaining the technology systems of the Graduate School. This position will serve as a liaison between development teams, vendor partners, and the internal/external customer or end user. Also as the project lead, the Assistant Dean will create comprehensive documentation for system processes and procedures and provides training to staff on effective system usage. Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job-related field and at least 8 years of job-related experience, including some prior management experience. Provide training to the 230+ graduate directors and coordinators that addresses barriers to implementation.
