Position Description
Advertised Job Summary Individualized Support:
Provide personalized learning assessments to nursing students to identify their unique learning styles, strengths, and areas for improvement.
Develop and implement customized learning plans and strategies tailored to meet the diverse needs of students, with a focus on enhancing study skills, time management, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Offer ongoing guidance and support to students through one-on-one consultations, coaching sessions, and workshops to promote academic success and self-directed learning.
Resource Development:
Curate and maintain a repository of educational resources, including online tutorials, study guides, and interactive tools, to assist students in accessing supplementary learning materials outside the classroom.
Workshop Facilitation:
Organize and facilitate workshops, seminars, and training sessions on topics related to study skills, exam preparation, time management, and academic success strategies for nursing students.
Create engaging and interactive learning experiences that encourage student participation and foster a supportive learning community within the College of Nursing.
Qualifications A master’s degree in education, counseling, psychology, nursing education, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience working in higher education, particularly within a nursing education setting, is highly preferred.
