Specific DutiesFunction as a team member in the processing of CWP applications. Receive and compile all fingerprint responses from SLED and the FBl. Answer telephone, interpret policies, procedures and gun laws. Enter CWP license application information into the CWP database and assist in the processing of those applications.
Enter, process, and retrieve CWP applicant’s image from DMV files and print CWP card for issuance in a timely manner as required by law.
Organize and assist in the maintenance of files on all applicants in all areas of the Regulatory Department. Perform other administrative duties as required.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
High school diploma and two (2) years of clerical experience. An associates degree may be substituted for required experience. Knowledge and ability to interpret office policies and procedures. Excellent organizational skills. Must have working knowledge in computer skills and office machines. Must successfully complete a 16 hour NCIC certification class. Ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations, policies and procedures. Ability to communicate effectively. Must be able to enter data in a timely and accurate manner.
