The successful program director candidate will hold a doctorate in nursing or a highly related field with a MSN, and have demonstrated leadership abilities with strong communication and team building skills. Will provide year-round leadership and promote growth and development of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. Will teach selected courses, participate in scholarly activities, participate in program/school and university governance, facilitate program marketing, assume responsibility for data collection and report completion, and serve as a member of the School of Nursing Administrative team. Minimum Qualifications Earned doctorate and master’s degree in nursing. Minimum of three years administrative experience and demonstrated ability in departmental growth. Minimum of three years teaching in an institution of higher education at the baccalaureate level. Experience in ability to (a) coordinate departmental activities, (b) supervise and guide faculty, © promote student success and growth, (d) interpret and implement university policies and (e) implement research projects that require analysis and interpretation of data. Must possess unencumbered Tennessee RN license at the time of initial appointment.
