Job Description Tennessee State University Office of Admissions invites applications for the position of Senior Admissions Associate. This position will perform daily operations, processing, and functions in the Admissions Office. Duties will include tasks and responsibilities that are required for admissions operations, such as maintenance, processing admission applications and transcripts, test scores, and assisting with special events, such as tours, college and high school fairs, as required for on-the spot acceptance to the University based on submission of admission applications.
Additional duties include:
Codes, scans and processes documents for Xtender Software Package. Processes daily reports generated by Hobson and Banner software systems. Assists in compiling and mailing admissions letter and other materials to prospective and returning students. Answers phones and work the receptionist desk as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Requires an Associate’s Degree or the equivalent of two years of experience in higher education analyzing and/or maintaining records. Excellent oral and written skills; Banner experience preferred, or experience utilizing a computer system for processing student information: and knowledge of work, and excel; and skills in operating office equipment.
