Parent’s Day Out Director 4.9 4.9 out of 5 stars 2201 Peachers Mill Road, Clarksville, TN 37042 Overview We are seeking an experienced Director to lead our Parents Day Out program and delivering high-quality services to children ages 1-5. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in early education, program management, and relationship management. This PDO program is part-time, Monday through Thursday, working on the CMCSS school year calendar. Duties Facilitate start up of the school year, including student registration and records Interviewing teacher and aide candidates. Oversee the development and implementation of classroom curriculum. Manage daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies. Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to foster professional growth and enhance team performance. Hold at least one fundraiser per year. Lead budgeting processes to ensure financial sustainability while maximizing resource allocation for program development. Perform annual program review Ensure proper training for staff and reporting of any suspected cases of child abuse to proper authorities. Skills Proven ability to manage teams effectively while promoting a positive work environment. Strong relationship management skills to build relationships within the community. Experience supervising staff. Proficiency in program development for early education. Solid understanding of budgeting processes and administrative functions within an organization.
