Special Conditions First consideration will be given to current University of Memphis employees. The department is especially interested in candidates who are knowledgeable of University policies and procedures and in candidates who are experienced users of University systems including TigerBuy, Banner, E-courseware, etc. Additionally, the department desires candidates who have a strong background in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Job Duties Duties & Responsibilities Department Chairs Administrative Support:

Provide administrative support for the College’s Academic Department Chairs and respective faculty. Interpret department and campus policies and guidelines independently and in collaboration with others on campus as needed to support the College’s programs. Review mail, internal forms, and other paperwork to ensure completeness, accuracy, and conformity within established procedures. Route mail, internal forms, and other documents to the appropriate individuals and departments for approval or action. Schedule meetings for Department Chairs utilizing approved University calendar systems. Coordinate and schedule Part-Time faculty interviews. Assist internal and external visitors with inquiries related to the college. Prepare, submit, and maintains the part-time faculty (PTFs) using appropriate University systems and procedures. Organize onboarding materials and schedules for New Faculty Orientation for the College of Nursing.

Duties & Responsibilities Departmental Sourcing and Procurement:

Monitors and oversees all procure-to-pay transactions and expenses for faculty operations by preparing forms and documentation for expenditures, including entering requisitions into appropriate systems, and organize any necessary related reports. Ensure receipt of all ordered supplies and follows up with vendors as necessary for missing or returning items. Review and reconciles Purchasing Card (Pcard) and other related College of Nursing purchases monthly. Monitor and maintains the inventory of supplies in the 3rd and 4th-floor workrooms, Order posters from Tiger Graphix for the College of Nursing’s departmental Chairs and faculty.

Duties & Responsibilities Facility Management:

Oversee the organization and set up of office and lab space for new College of Nursing faculty. Requests door and key access for all faculty when issues arise using appropriate University systems. Submit room reservations through EMS for the department Chairs and faculty.

Duties & Responsibilities Programming and Event Coordination:

Serve as a steward at the College of Nursing’s special events as requested. Duties & Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned.
