Job Duties Duties & Responsibilities Leadership & Compliance:
Assists the Executive Director in the planning and implementation of school-wide programs, policies, goals and objectives.
Oversees the Special Education Department, Response to Intervention (RTI) programs, and 504 plans, ensuring compliance with district, state, and federal regulations, ensuring students receive appropriate support and services, and ensuring staff members follow all district, state, and federal guidelines.
Supervises the placement of pre-service teachers, interns, and practicum students.
Duties & Responsibilities School Culture & Student Support:
Oversees school programs that support academic achievement and student well-being.
Manages school, district, and state guidelines for student discipline and promotes a positive school culture through proactive behavior supports and relationship-building.
Analyzes student attendance and discipline data to inform school-wide decisions and strategies.
Coordinates and manages programs such as Honors Assemblies, special programs, and school-wide events to celebrate student achievements and foster a sense of community and school spirit.
Works closely with the Student Leadership Council to encourage student voice and engagement.
Collaborates with school partners and community organizations to support student learning and enrichment opportunities.
Oversees special initiatives and projects that support and promote student well-being.
