Job Description:
Job Purpose:
The Graduate Assistant for Athletics will assist the Director of Athletics in all areas of operating an elite college athletics department. The successful candidate will have the ability to multi-task efficiently, communicate at a high level, and be extremely organized. The Graduate Assistant for Athletics will report to the Director of Athletics. Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions): Serve as initial point of contact in the athletics office
Manage all accounts payable for coaches
Manage apparel and equipment orders
Manage scheduling and maintenance of athletics vehicles
Assist with team transportation scheduling
Assist in facility maintenance
Assist in monitoring CARA for the sport program
Assist with eligibility and compliance duties
Represent the Athletics program and the university in the community Additional Duties and Responsibilities (Non-Essential Functions): Possible game day responsibilities for home contests
Be engaged at campus events
Assist in monitoring student-athlete academic progress
Other duties as assigned by the
Director of Athletics Requirements:
Interest in Athletics Administration preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks
Excellent computer usage skills
Education:
Bachelor’s degree
