Kingdom Heights Preparatory School Position Overview:

Kingdom Heights Preparatory School, a ministry of The Rock Family Worship Center , is seeking a dedicated and faith-driven Latin Teacher to inspire students through the study of classical languages and culture. The ideal candidate will integrate biblical principles into instruction while fostering critical thinking, linguistic proficiency, and historical appreciation.

Qualifications:

Education :

Bachelor’s Degree in Education from an accredited university.

Certification :

Valid Alabama teaching certification with appropriate subject area endorsement(s) and grade level.

Skills :

Strong instructional abilities, classroom management, and commitment to faith-based education.

Key Responsibilities:

Faith-Based Instruction & Leadership Integrate biblical principles into Latin instruction, connecting language study to a deeper understanding of history, theology, and culture. Model Christ-like character in interactions with students, staff, and parents. Actively participate in chapel services, devotionals, and school-wide faith initiatives. Engaging & Effective Teaching Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum. Teach Latin language, literature, and culture with enthusiasm and clarity. Utilize a variety of teaching strategies, including spoken Latin, historical context, and interactive activities. Student Support & Classroom Management Create a structured, positive, and inclusive learning environment. Establish and uphold clear expectations for student behavior. Assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional methods accordingly. Communication & Collaboration Maintain open, professional communication with parents, colleagues, and administrators. Provide timely feedback on student progress and development. Engage in professional development to continually improve teaching practices.
