Experience Proven experience as a MS or HS Teacher for 3+ years in a non-denominational Christian School Strong experience in teaching the Bible in accordance with orthodox Christianity Demonstrated ability to communicate with parents, students, and staff Experience in following the Abeka curriculum (preferred) Classroom Management within a Diversified Classroom Responsibilities include: Develop and implement lesson plans according to state standards Promote a high standard of critical thinking Implement effective classroom management techniques to produce a healthy and inclusive learning environment Support students at various levels of biblical competency Be able to teach from a Gospel perspective, not promoting any particular denomination Assess the progress of each student and provide constructive feedback Serve as a Christian Leader in the classroom and throughout the school Display Christ-like Behavior at PCCA and in the community Education Bachelor’s Degree in Theology or Biblical Studies License/Certification FDOE Certification (preferred but not required) MSA, Apple, and/or ACSI Certification (preferred but not required)
