We provide delightful, gospel-centric classroom instruction in the liberal arts following Charlotte Mason’s methods and philosophy. Summary of Position:
Ingleside has an opening for one teaching position for the 2025-26 academic year in 5th to 8th grade (grade/age to be discussed). The role includes approximately 16 hours of classroom time Monday through Thursdays (8:30 AM -1:15 PM), with approximately 2- 4 hours/week outside preparation as all lesson plans and materials are provided. Familiarity with the Charlotte Mason method is a plus but not required—comprehensive teacher orientation, ongoing training, and support will be provided. A love for Jesus and children plus a passion for lifelong learning are essential!

Job Description:
Follow the Charlotte Mason pedagogy and philosophy in the classroom Pre-read/prepare for provided lesson plans at least one week in advance and submit to Directors of Education for approval Is fully prepared each day so learning takes place in a joyful, peaceful, ready environment Maintain order and authority in the classroom with kindness and calm Walk alongside students in mastering good habits following the provided discipline policy when students need redirecting Work with Directors when there are discipline infractions including notifying parents Facilitate exams and communicate student evaluations to parents after each term. Perform other related duties as so directed by the Director of Education. Communicate with and be a resource for families Attend Ingleside related activities outside of normal hours such as Christmas and End of Year programs, parent meetings, parent interviews, and staff meetings With the exception of exams (3x/year), there is no test, quiz, or paper grading.
Start Date:
4 weeks of training covering June/July followed by staff orientation and room set up the week of August 4, 2025. The academic year begins August 7, 2025
