GWA is an independent, Pre-K-12, independent, college-preparatory school located on 61 beautiful acres in Monroe, Georgia, less than one hour from the state capitol of Atlanta. George Walton Academy seeks a lower school Bible/STEM teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This teacher will work closely with the lower school teaching team to create engaging interdisciplinary experiences for students. The role involves developing and implementing Bible curriculum, delivering interactive lessons, and fostering spiritual growth, while also facilitating STEM learning activities and engaging students in science, technology, engineering, and math. Responsibilities Teach grades K-3 through 5th grade as a special area class Create lesson plans for Bible/STEM learning activities and monitor student progress. Support classroom teachers with the implementation of science curriculum and STEM projects.
