Job Description
Position Summary:
Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of students while providing an educational and nurturing environment in a classroom setting, supporting the catholic mission of Sacred Hearts School.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe and well-maintained classroom
- Provide supervision and discipline
- Plan, prepare and implement engaging lessons.
- Educate the whole child: intellectual, spiritual, moral, social, emotional, and physical.
- Monitor and assess student performance.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and administration.
- Collaborate with teachers and administration to facilitate multi-cultural learning experiences.
- Participate/attend in-service days, school events, open houses and other events determined by the Head of School
- Maintain confidentiality
