Job Description
The Emily G. Wetherbee School is seeking a Grade 4 teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate possesses a belief that all students are capable of learning. Experience with co-teaching and inclusion practices, including collaborative planning, are recommended. Teacher responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Teaching core content classes in a self-contained classroom/homeroom: ELA(CKLA) Mathematics(Eureka), Science, and Social Studies
- Participating in the Warrior
S.T.R.O.N.G.
schoolwide positive behavior support protocols
- Participating in grade-level and content vertical planning meetings
- Attending IEP, 504, student support, and team meetings
- Participating in curriculum night, report card night(s), and family engagement opportunities
- Establishing and maintaining grade-level paraprofessional collaboration in the classroom
