This position is ideal for someone with a current teaching position looking for additional work, a graduate student interested in teaching at the high school level, or a retired teacher who isnt quite ready to leave it all behind.

We can provide you with a home to teach your passion! In addition to traditional academics, our wide array of electives enrich the academic curriculum and showcase the creativity of our faculty. If you want to develop hands-on, project-based courses, we want to talk to you! Responsibilities include Create and implement lesson plans You will be responsible for teaching one section of high school US History. For the right candidate there may be opportunities to advise student clubs, based on your interests. Monitor and communicate student progress Provide feedback to students and their families on academic, social, and behavioral progress. Maintain appropriate records. Create two-way communication channels with families so they are updated on their childs progress. Other responsibilities As assigned by the Head of School. Who you are You are warm, nurturing, and passionate about working with teenage boys. You are creative, and enjoy developing coursework that will challenge and enrich teenagers minds. You are passionate about history, and have multiple ways to engage students in the curriculum. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching high school US History.

The hours for this position have some flexibility between 1:30-5:30 p.m.

Salary:

$10,000 per class
