SUMMARY:
RSU 2 is looking for a teacher who exhibits a blend of professional skills and personal qualities, including patience, empathy, creativity, strong communication, organizational skills, and a passion for early childhood education. Who can also create a nurturing, stimulating and fun environment where young children can thrive.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree • Valid Maine teaching certification/endorsement in area of study required. Must hold current Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) certification
START DATE
August 2025
SALARY:
Based on teacher position experience and in accordance with the 2024-2025 wage scale in the teacher bargaining agreement: $42,597.33 [BA, step 1] – $78,130.69 [MA+15, step 23], prorated from start date. The complete contract year is 182 days. (
