The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training in various technical subjects, including but not limited to electrical. This role requires a passion for teaching and the ability to engage students effectively while fostering a positive learning environment. This is a full time position with the opportunity to help implement a brand new campus program. Responsibilities Teaching classes in both a classroom and lab environment. Maintaining a good working relationship with industry employers. Assisting graduates with placement in their related career field. Staying up to date with industry standards. Experience 3 years experience as an electrician. Preferred experience in Industrial/Commercial/Maintenance applications. Working knowledge of electrical codes and code book. Have strong organizational skills and a genuine sensitivity to the needs of students. Knowledgeable of the course content and proficient in all skills taught within the program. Competent, as evidence by satisfactory performance of skills, of all competencies taught in curriculum. Preperation in educational theory and techniques preferred. This can include formal education, continuining education and/or in-service education. Strong communication and organizational skills. Computer proficiency. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Have a professional attitude and manner that reflects the high standards of MTI and the program you represent.
