ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Other duties may be assigned. Maintain knowledge of diversity-related issues, legislation, and best practices. Tutor summer component Upward Bound participants as needed. Assist summer component teachers with providing supplemental and intense interventions to Upward Bound participants. Serve as residential assistants during the residential week of the summer component. Supervise UB participants during the summer component. Attend daily debriefing meetings with the residential group. Communicate with participants to encourage the continuation of secondary and post-secondary studies.
