Teacher will implement Project Based Learning pedagogy and collaborate with colleagues to give students unique learning experiences. Training provided. •For the 25-26 school year•Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for social studies that align with curriculum standards. Manage classroom dynamics to foster a positive learning environment. Assess and evaluate student progress through standardized testing and other methods. Provide mentorship and support to students, encouraging critical thinking and literacy skills. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and instructional design. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student performance and needs. Qualifications Strong classroom management and organizational skills Proven experience in teaching and working with high school students Proficiency in literacy education and instructional design Ability to develop and implement curriculum, including AP courses Excellent communication and mentoring abilities Familiarity with standardized testing and special education practices Background in tutoring and academic advising
