Faculty – Early Childhood Education Position Available In Rowan, North Carolina

The Early Childhood Instructor is a full-time faculty member responsible for conducting assigned day, evening and/or distance education classes of instruction at the North campus and South campus. The instructor is responsible for maintaining instructional quality and effectiveness through constant and timely revisions of course elements and syllabi to meet program support needs, and for keeping accurate and timely records as assigned. He/she is also responsible for assisting in the recruitment and retention of students, advising in-process students, supervising practicum students, and developing recommendations on course content and course offerings in the assigned content areas. The individual may be appointed to serve on various institutional committees and study groups and will be responsible for new course development, selection, and recommendation of appropriate instructional materials and textbooks. The instructor will also be responsible for other duties as assigned. (9 months full-time position) Master’s degree in Child/Family Studies/Early Education or closely related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline.
