25-26 Certified Teachers 6th-12th (pool) Wayne Preparatory Academy Goldsboro, NC 27530 Well established, Wayne County, NC, K-12 Charter School seeking enthusiastic individuals to add to our teaching team. Positions available in all grades and subjects: Math, ELA, Exceptional Children, Social Studies, & Science! The ideal candidates will be passionate about teaching and excited to help mold tomorrow’s leaders. - Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the curriculum
- Teach students using a variety of engaging and interactive methods
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Assess and monitor student progress and provide feedback on their performance
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience
- Utilize technology and other resources to enhance teaching and learning
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and assessments
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and behavior
Requirements:
- Educational background preferred with the ability to educate students effectively. Bachelor’s degree required.
- Effective classroom management skills to create a positive learning environment
- Ability to provide individualized instruction or tutoring as needed
