Meet the requirements of VirtualSC’s Online Teaching Standards in the Environment domain by meeting the mastery level in managing student behavior, establishing the online course environment, and maintaining a respectful culture. Meet the requirements of VirtualSC’s Online Teaching Standards in the Professionalism domain by meeting the mastery level in growing and developing professionally, reflecting on teaching practice, and managing courses. Participate in the course design and revision process either formally, as subject matter expert (SME), second reader, or informally; Participate in internal course review and standards alignment processes. Perform other duties as assigned. VirtualSC is seeking a teacher certified in high school science and holding an endorsement in online teaching with experience teaching online. This position is located in the Office of VirtualSC. Minimum and Additional Requirements A Bachelor’s degree with certification as a professional teacher in the subject area to be taught by the South Carolina Department of Education. Preferred Qualifications A Master’s degree in the subject area to be taught preferred. An endorsement in online teaching with experience teaching online. Additional Comments
