The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social studies and the ability to engage students through innovative teaching methods. The Social Studies Teacher will be responsible for developing lesson plans that align with curriculum standards while incorporating elements of journalism and creative writing to enhance student learning. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cover various aspects of social studies, including history, geography, economics, and civics. Utilize creative writing assignments to encourage students to express their understanding of social concepts. Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a positive learning environment. Provide individualized support to students, adapting teaching styles to meet diverse learning needs. Incorporate library services into lessons to promote research skills and critical analysis.
