60124 Department Department of Modern Languages and Linguistics | College of Arts & Sciences Responsibilities The Department of Modern Languages and Linguistics at Florida State University invites applications for two full-time Teaching Faculty I positions beginning Fall 2025. The selected candidates will be expected to teach four courses each in Fall and Spring, two in Summer, and to perform service as needed for the program and department. Qualifications A doctoral degree or highest-level terminal degree from an accredited institution in Spanish, Hispanic Studies, or a related field with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching is required. Applicants must have native or near native proficiency in Spanish and English and are required to show familiarity with contemporary approaches to communicative language teaching.
