Job Description

Summary Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law seeks to recruit a diverse pool of individuals who would be interested in serving as part-time adjunct faculty members to teach law courses in all subject matter areas, offered as day or evening classes. Essential Duties Teach for 13 weeks during Fall and Spring semesters or for 7 weeks during the Summer term. Class times vary depending on the credit hours. Qualifications/Requirements Must possess a J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school. Experience in teaching or relevant law-related employment experience. Commitment to the mission of the Law School and its curricular and instructional methods and goals. This is an open pool posting that does not guarantee available openings at any specific time. Positions will be filled on an as-needed basis from the available pool of applicants on file. Compensation is $1,500.00 per credit hour.
