The General Legal Studies Program at Tulane University’s School ofProfessional Advancement (SoPA) seeks qualified individuals for itspart-time Adjunct Lecturer pool and welcomes applicants at anytime. The specific courses involved will vary from semester tosemester; openings to teach these courses develop on a periodicbasis depending on department teaching needs. SoPA courses may betaught at the Uptown campus, Elmwood campus, or online. Theanticipated need is for Adjunct Lecturers to teach undergraduateand graduate courses in General Legal Studies that may include butare not limited to: Intro to the legal
System Legal Research Legal Writing Litigation Legal Technology Oil & Gas Law Qualifications:
J.D, Ph.D., MLS, or equivalent masters-level degree 3 to 5 years of law firm or governmental agency experiencedirectly related to the area of expertise. Experience in litigation, CLE presentations, oruniversity-level teaching.
