Law and Legal Studies USNH Employees should apply within Workday through the Jobs Hub app This position in the law school’s Academic Success Department (ASP) supports students in several ways related to the department’s dual core mission to ensure student success during law school and on the bar exam. The position works with students to teach bar exam essay writing skills and primarily involves grading student responses and reviewing the answers with students during individual coaching and tutoring sessions. The position also works with new students teaching core law school academic skills, like writing and legal analysis. This position is not considered essential staff. Duties/Responsibilities Essay Grading (40%) Bar exam essay review, grading, and production of written feedback for students Meetings/tutoring (35%) Individual meetings and one-on-one instruction. Student communication and course design (25%) Core academic skills instruction and course design for new law students
Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree At least two years of legal practice or law teaching experience
