An Adjunct Professor of Law (Adjunct) teaches course(s) at UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law as assigned by the Associate Dean for Faculty or Associate Dean for Academic Administration for a specific term.
Duties/Responsibilities may include:
preparing the syllabus and materials for course delivery; updating the course information and materials within the applicable Learning Management System; providing students with timely and specific feedback; responding to student inquiries within 24 hours; offering weekly office hours for individual or group consultation; grading assignments and exams in a timely manner and no later than by the deadline set by the law school; submitting final grades according to UNH Franklin Pierce policy and the individual program calendars; maintaining communication with UNH Franklin Pierce faculty and staff through email, mail, telephone, and any other medium deemed appropriate; and other duties as assigned The Associate Dean for Faculty, subject to approval of the Dean, will determine the Adjunct’s workload and will be responsible for evaluating the Adjunct’s performance.
