Job Description
LaGrange College seeks to fill the position of Digital Resources Librarian in the Frank and Laura Lewis Library. Reporting to the Library Director, the Digital Resources Librarian is responsible for managing all aspects of the electronic-resources life cycle (researching, acquiring, establishing access, administering, supporting, and evaluating) as well as updating the library’s homepage and overseeing library technology maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting. Candidates should have at minimu m a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science, Library Science, or an American Library Association (ALA) accredited degree program, and experience in an Academic Library. Knowledge of digital resources, including EBSCO databases, ProQuest databases, Springshare, the Library of Congress Classification System, SIRSI Symphony, a basic knowledge of HTML and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred. Organizational skills and project management experience are also desired qualifications.
