The ideal candidate is a well-rounded educator and instructional partner who champions digital literacy, research fluency, and a lifelong love of reading. With a strong foundation in both library science and educational technology, this individual brings a student-centered approach to teaching, media integration, and innovation across all grade levels. This full-time, JK-12 role includes teaching LibTech classes in the Lower School, supporting digital citizenship and media literacy instruction school-wide, and collaborating with faculty to integrate developmentally appropriate research skills and technology tools into the classroom. The Library Technology Integrationist plays a key role in promoting inquiry-based learning, managing digital and print resources, curating diverse reading materials, and designing engaging programming such as Hour of Code Week, Digital Wellness Month, and special literacy events. A bachelor’s degree. A Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) degree is preferred. Experience in modern school librarianship, including teaching students and guiding learners with all relevant aspects of technology and media. Demonstrated library/media services and instructional technology expertise in K-12 environments. Demonstrated knowledge of AASL and ISTE standards with a passion for student-centered, tech-integrated pedagogy. Experience in developing and engaging students in digital responsibility education. Experience with Makerspace, digital media tools, and STEAM-based learning preferred.
