Working Title (if different from Position Title) Job Summary Auburn University Libraries is seeking applicants for the position of Student Assistant to assist faculty and staff with daily, routine library operations. Essential Functions Scanning title page, title page verso, table of contents and covers for print materials and sending the PDF to the cataloger
Scanning containers and disc surfaces for non-print materials
Viewing DVDs and filling out a worksheet for video credits
Creating item records, and attaching barcodes and sending materials to Physical Processing
Sending barcodes to cataloger for reclass books
Assisting with authority work
Transcribing Discover Auburn Lecture videos
Copying ad formatting tables of contents for e-books
Searching external databases for cataloging records
Other duties as assigned

Work Hours Work hours are between 7:45am-4:00pm; Student will work up to 10 hours per week depending on availability and departmental needs.
