Collects and evaluates Resource Center usage. In collaboration with the Director of Library Services, uses survey data and usage data to develop and implement changes based on students’ needs
Issues College ID cards to faculty, staff, and students. Maintains equipment and orders supplies, as needed
Oversees and directs Federal-Work Study student workers assigned to work in the Resource Center. Ensures sufficient coverage for all open hours for the Resource Center
Assists with maintaining any on-site resources such as books, DVDs, journals, and other materials Reference and User Services Responsibilities Provides excellent customer service and problem-solving skills in assisting all Resource Center users. Helps students access available services and resources; directs students to further assistance as needed
Provides limited reference assistance to students, faculty, and staff. Makes referrals to the librarians, as needed
Assists with inter-campus loan receipt and return of library resources
Assists with receipt and return of interlibrary loan materials from other libraries
Provides assistance with check in and check out of Resource Center materials and equipment
Assists and provides problem solving with copier, printer, and computer use by Resource Center users Technical Services Responsibilities Work directly with the Director and Associate Director of Instructional Design and Technology on projects that support the team
Assist students with navigating Canvas courses
Provide training and support for the Canvas Learning Management System, Panopto Lecture Capture System, and other instructional technologies that support teaching and learning in on-ground, hybrid, and distance learning courses
Assist with IDT Help Desk on level 1 tickets Other Responsibilities All other related duties as assigned by supervisor
Assists with maintenance and updates of Resource Center computers
Assists with annual inventory of Resource Center books, equipment, and other materials
Attends all department and institutional meetings, in-service training sessions, and other meetings as requested by the supervisor
Requirements Education Minimum Associates Degree Bachelors Degree Preferred
