Job Description

K-5 Building-Based Math Coach – Whitesboro Elementary 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars Altoona, AL K-5 Building-Based Math Coach Building-based mathematics coaches, as designated by the ANA, will be evaluated according to quantitative and qualitative data measures. Summative and formative student assessment data, surveys, and site visit reports will be used to determine ANA mathematics coaches’ effectiveness and the overall program and process effectiveness. Support for ANA mathematics coaches will be provided by AMSTI Regional Specialists and monitored by OMI Regional Coordinators according to specifications outlined in the ANA. Attend regularly scheduled professional learning community (PLC) meetings and ongoing coaching cycles with teachers; see the Job Attachment for a complete description.

Qualifications:

Valid Alabama Department of Education Teacher’s Certificate, Master’s degree or higher, and such alternatives to the above qualifications as the board may find appropriate and acceptable.
