Description ✨Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Math Teacher at J. Walter Wood Treatment Facility in Montgomery, Alabama. ✨ The J. Walter Wood Treatment Facility is in the capital city of Alabama. It features 24 dormitory sites and is adjacent to a year-round educational institution in collaboration with the Montgomery County Board of Education.

Works collaboratively with staff in a supportive fashion emphasizing a positive attitude toward students, staff, and program. Teachers report to the Vice Principals and/or Principal.
To be considered you should:
Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect. Must have a current and valid State teaching credential, with a specialization in Math for grades 6-12. Three or more years of successful classroom teaching. Have a desire to work with at-risk youth. Be able to pass a criminal background check, child abuse registry, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
Schedule:
