Grade 5 & 6 Math Teacher

06/10/2025 St. Gregory Catholic School in Plantation (Broward), Florida has an opening for a Math Teacher, Grades 5 & 6 for the 2025-26 school year. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for grade levels 5 and 6. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on certification and years of experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Math Education or related field.
FDOE Teaching certificate in Math; temporary or professional required.
Excellent classroom management skills.
Strong presentation skills using digital books and interactive classroom technology; Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint a plus.
Must have clear and concise dialogue with students and parents.
Excellent oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
Good spelling and grammar required.
Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic Environment preferred.
Knowledge of the basic tenets of the Catholic Church.
Must have a professional demeanor.
